- You can play with your company's name a little bit to find a close
.com name availability for example RedLineMotorsDC.com is available.

( sites ending with .com are generally easier for people to remember)

- To get us going:

       - I can set this up for you or .........

     - you can sign up for your web hosting and send me the password

     - I think this will make your billing info visible to me, so if you
would like me to sign something to ensure your safety and privacy
I would be happy to do so.  

       - If you choose to  set it all up & pay annual fees through me,  
it will place you in a situation where you would always have to go
through me for annual domain name registration and to cancel or
amend your site hosting plan.

I think you should retain control of your own site and domain name.
    
-   When you want someone on your staff to start maintaining the site
please have them call me and I will walk them through it on the phone
without any problem.

If you would like me to keep your site updated that is fine too.

You mentioned that people often call for free general auto info -

Perhaps at some point you could offer a paid phone consultation service
for people who just need some advice.

You could promote this by having a Q&A page, where you answer a very
limited number of questions per month, or whatever frequency you want -
and then let people know you do offer paid consultations for those who get
stuck while trying to perform their own auto repairs.

Just an idea I thought you might want to consider.

People can also pay by phone at the time of the call with their credit cards,
or if they would like a written response, they could pay with PayPal - which
is the same pay service ebay uses, so it is widely known and trusted.
